  • Gathering and synthesising financial and/or commercial data to produce insightful reports and presentations for internal purposes, including reporting on key performance indicators.
  • Support our partnership and data teams by crafting compelling and customer-centric reports and presentations utilising a deep understanding of market trends and a strategic business perspective to tailor the narrative to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and business development efforts.
  • Providing recommendations based on market insights to drive revenue growth and improve competitive advantage.
  • Communicating changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements — verbally or through written documentation — to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.

Job requirements

About Greyparrot:

The world is in a waste crisis. Currently we produce 2.1 billion tons of solid waste per year. Data collection of the waste we produce is non-existent, meaning no systematic transparency and no accountability. It means that recycling targets are not upheld, dumping of waste into our oceans remains nobody's responsibility, recyclables get sent to landfill or incineration, and producers get away with sub-standard packaging. Thus, recycling rates stubbornly remain at 10% and, unless we change, by 2040 the plastic stock in the ocean will have quadrupled - a problem that already costs society $1.5 trillion each year.

Our mission is to increase transparency and automation in waste management to accelerate the circular economy. Currently, our camera system and AI software are deployed in recycling plants and waste facilities around the world to measure material flows and provide waste analytics. We have compiled a team of experts to deploy our technology and we’re looking to expand our team.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years commercial experience in market research, commercial analysis, or related field. Please note, this means experience outside of university research.
  • Logical and efficient, with keen attention to details and accuracy in reporting.
  • Proficiency in market research tools and methodologies.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning, organising and executing to a deadline.
  • Passion for addressing the waste crisis or other environmental issues

It would be a plus if you had:

  • A European language (French, German, Spanish, Italian)
  • Experience in a startup or small business
  • Experience in the AI, tech sector or in the waste or packaging sector.
