Job description

Marketing Executive

The Team & Environment

  • Reporting Line: You will report to the Head of Growth, Tiziana Giordano

  • Team Dynamics: You will work within a focused team of at least two direct peers.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: You will also regularly interact with the wider company to ensure alignment across the organisation.

  • Hybrid Flexibility: If you live in London or within commuting distance (M25), we’d like you to come into the office at least once a week (marketing team are on Tuesday and Wednesdays). If you’re elsewhere in the UK, we ask you to come in once a month and for the quarterly company All Hands.

About the role

Marketing at Greyparrot is fast-paced, mission-driven B2B marketing at the intersection of AI, sustainability and the circular economy.

You'll support marketing for two specialist audiences - waste & recycling operators (MRFs/PRFs) and global FMCG/CPG brands - across the full funnel, from awareness and demand generation to lead nurturing and conversion.

This is not B2C, and it's not typical B2B SaaS. Our audiences are specialists, our sales cycles are considered and we focus on quality over volume - with clearly defined ICPs and careful lead qualification rather than broad reach. That means deeply understanding who we're talking to and crafting targeted, insight-led content and campaigns that resonate with the right people at key moments in the calendar.

As waste intelligence is still a new category, you'll be helping these audiences understand how AI can transform their operations - increasing recovery rates and profitability for waste managers, and informing sustainable packaging design and compliance for CPG brands. Because Greyparrot is expanding into new markets and continuously evolving its products, priorities can shift quickly, so being adaptable, proactive and eager to learn is important.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys startup energy, variety and learning by doing. You'll gain exposure to multiple areas of B2B growth marketing and work closely with sales, product and implementation teams. It's less suited to someone looking for highly structured processes or traditional B2C or B2B SaaS marketing.

At Greyparrot, you won't just support marketing campaigns - you'll help grow a category-defining AI company working to transform recycling and accelerate the circular economy worldwide.

Core responsibilities

You will have responsibility for:

  • Create content across the funnel - blogs, newsletters, sales emails, proposals, social posts and event materials

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns, events and inbound requests as sales opportunities

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities through the use of Linkedin and Sales Navigator, and help compile mailing lists for targeted outbound campaigns

  • Help execute targeted demand generation campaigns, ensuring messaging is clear, accurate, and audience-specific

  • Conduct account and market research to support sales strategies and sharpen campaign targeting

  • Manage and report on campaign performance, leads, and pipeline activity in HubSpot

  • Help track marketing budget and expenses

  • Assist with material translations

  • Maintain and update the website based on content needs and analytics insights

  • Assist with industry event applications, speaking opportunities and fielding inbound event requests

  • Visit facilities to capture photography and video for case studies and marketing collateral

  • Use templates in Adobe InDesign, Canva, Google Slides, the website CMS, HubSpot and other tools to create collateral for events, advertising, and campaigns

  • Support product marketing by producing customer newsletters, knowledge hub articles, product videos, and other assets.

  • Help improve efficiency by building and maintaining Marketing automations in HubSpot for lead nurture and campaign reporting purposes, including workflows, email sequences, lead scoring and reports.

Job requirements

  • 1 to 2+ years professional experience within marketing including use of CRM (ideally HubSpot), LinkedIn and design tools

  • Strong interest in creating high-quality, impactful content that drives revenue, with a clear ability to demonstrate results

  • Solid understanding of leveraging AI to optimise and streamline processes

  • Driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong research and analytical skills with a structured approach to marketing activities

  • Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build relationships

  • Genuine interest in sustainability, waste or environmental sectors

Nice-to-have extras

  • B2B marketing experience

  • European languages

About Greyparrot

The world is in a waste crisis. Currently we produce 2.1 billion tons of solid waste per year. Data collection of the waste we produce is non-existent, meaning no systematic transparency and no accountability. It means that recycling targets are not upheld, dumping of waste into our oceans remains nobody's responsibility, recyclables get sent to landfill or incineration, and producers get away with sub-standard packaging. Thus, recycling rates stubbornly remain at 10% and, unless we change, by 2040 the plastic stock in the ocean will have quadrupled - a problem that already costs society $1.5 trillion each year.

Our mission is to digital waste flows to accelerate the circular economy. Currently, our camera system and AI software are deployed in recycling plants and waste facilities around the world to measure material flows and provide waste analytics. We have compiled a team of experts to deploy our technology and we’re looking to expand our team.
